a picture of the Faversham Marathon

This marathon was a few weeks ago, it was 40 laps around a park, and that amounted to 42.2km's in the end. they had people to count the laps for you so you could iether try and forget about the laps or become obsessed over them. I learned that it is not my preference to run around and around and around the same place over and over again in quick succession, it feels like being an elastic band.
some people even do races where they run around an athletics track for 6 hours or 12 hours or 24 hours to see how many laps they can do in that time. they must be extremely balanced and accepting of the now, people, to be able to do that and to even want to.
I'll never ever ever ever do that. I'd rather go and run in very deep snow up and down mountains where you cant see the end and you could go and sleep in a cave with a fire for the night.
today i ran from East Croyden to home and here is the map, i went past 3 of the places I've lived in, in London, on the way, not on purpose, though I never lived in Croyden thank goodness.
