this is a commemorative coin from Southern Rhodesia 1953 on the back its got Queen Elizabeth the Second and i've had it for quite some time. it also has Cecil Rhodes on it as opposed to Ian Smith which is a bit better.

the 'H' pencil that needed some help

here is a something in the H pencil for a certain purpose, then it needed to get written over because it was invisible almost and/or mostly, and that was the next day, so thats why the original and the written over one are both here, for information and memory. now its only possible to see the original H one here in the air category but not in real life, though maybe that is good.

because there isn't space in the drawing, this is about telephone wires. in Africa (but it might have changed) telephone wires are on top of the ground on poles and the birds rest on the telephone wires which look like liquorice and they dont get electric shocks, also people can steal the wire to make sculptures, but probably they have special tools and gloves for grounding them against electric surges which can cause death. In England , I think the wires are under the ground, so no one really knows what the pattern is and its unlikely someone would dig up the road to steal the telephone wires to make sculptures to sell. so its not something we really think about much, we just pay our line rental, even though that is a generalisation.

this is the metal and plastacine eagle sculpture

it also looks a bit like a skeleton, but combined with iron. It is in Moscow and was made by E.Elegina and I Makarevich in 2003. This is not a real photograph, its from a magazine.

this time and last time

Last time we won was 1995, and it was the first time since the end of Apartheid which ended in 1994. Here is a picture from then, in Durban, where it was. Rugby itself is not the most important thing. Yayyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!

The Remix George Baselitz Exibition

there are a lot lot more pictures than in this exhibition as George painted a lot so in a way, it didn't feel quite right, like someone else made the decisions on what to see. The Dresden section is perhaps the most close to the way he is, according to the stuff I have read, which has been mostly based from south africa. In the Dresden section he made all the pictures in 3 months which is quite good going. Interrestingly he lived 'with his family' for a lot of the time. At the moment he is in his 80's.

this picture seemed to ignore the colour, so it is in black and white and it misses the detail, but that is obviously for a reason

this is the Medusa with a metal and glass butterfly stuck in its head. I never made the butterfly, i bought it in a hardware store in Sevenoaks (which actually only has 3 Oaks due to the fire or the storm) now it has a use.
